  • In 2016, Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari Phogat were disqualified from the 2016 Rio Olympics. In 2018, the Wrestling Federation of India, banned Phogat Sisters from attending the Asian Games, held in Jakarta. However, after Geeta gave a reasonable explanation, she was granted permission to attend the tournament.

She began to take him seriously, and they both finally agreed to marry.
